How to Play Block Jigsaw

The goal is simple: use every piece to fill the board completely. There must be no overlap, no piece outside the board and no empty cell when you finish.

1. Choose a challenge

The modes change more than grid size. Easier puzzles use fewer, chunkier pieces and stronger snap assistance. Later puzzles add irregular shapes, rotation, precise placement and flipping.

2. Drag a piece onto the board

Click and hold a piece, move it over the board and release it. If the piece fits inside the board without overlapping another piece, it can be placed. If it does not fit, it returns to the tray.

3. Rotate when the mode allows it

Once a piece is selected, use the Rotate button, right-click or scroll the mouse wheel. A piece that is already on the board only rotates if the new orientation still fits without crossing the board edge or another piece.

4. Do not assume every legal placement is correct

This is the central puzzle idea. The game accepts any non-overlapping placement. You may discover later that an earlier move created a gap no remaining piece can fill. Move pieces and try a different arrangement.

5. Use hints deliberately

A hint highlights a suggested piece and shows a glowing target region on the board. In the gentler modes the game may also correct the piece orientation. Harder modes preserve more of the spatial reasoning challenge.

6. Complete the board

When every cell is filled, the puzzle is complete. The game records basic play metrics such as time, hints, resets and failed drops to suggest an appropriate next challenge. These metrics remain part of the local game session; no account is needed.
