One global daily board
The date is converted into a deterministic seed. Players who open the Daily Challenge on the same UTC date receive the same puzzle configuration.
A fresh Block Jigsaw puzzle is derived from the current UTC date. Come back tomorrow for a different board, or replay today’s board to improve your time and solve it with fewer hints.
Tip: on mobile, drag to move a piece and swipe left or right on a selected piece to rotate it.
Everyone receives the same Daily Challenge for the UTC date. If you want to compete, sign in before starting or replaying the puzzle so a server-timed ranked session can begin. Ranked score equals your completion time plus a 15-second penalty for each hint used. Your daily placement also earns weekly points, while consecutive ranked finishes build your competitive streak.

Normal Block Jigsaw boards are generated randomly. The Daily Challenge uses the same generator with a seeded random sequence based on the UTC calendar date. That means the shape layout and starting orientations are repeatable for that day instead of changing every time the page reloads.
The date is converted into a deterministic seed. Players who open the Daily Challenge on the same UTC date receive the same puzzle configuration.
The daily seed also selects one of three mid-to-high difficulty modes. This keeps the feature varied without making every day an Expert-level commitment.
Completion dates, best times and basic game statistics are stored locally in your browser. If you choose to sign in and compete, ranked Daily Challenge results are stored separately in your competitive profile.
Start by identifying the most constrained pieces: shapes with deep notches, long narrow runs or unusual corners. Compare them with the board edges and with empty regions that would be difficult to fill later. Avoid filling the middle simply because a large piece happens to fit there.
If the board becomes impossible, backtrack only the most uncertain recent placements first. The Daily Challenge can be replayed, so you can use one attempt to learn the geometry and a later attempt to improve your time or reduce hint use.
Local progress can stay on your device. If you choose to compete, a player account stores ranked results and achievements online while your sign-in email remains private.
The Daily Challenge never replaces the normal game. The homepage still offers all six difficulty modes with fresh randomly generated layouts whenever you start a new puzzle.
