A short record of meaningful changes to the game and website. This page focuses on changes that affect players or explain how the project is being maintained.

Daily Challenge, local progress and shareable results

Block Jigsaw now generates one repeatable Daily Challenge from each UTC date. The same date produces the same board and starting orientations, while the daily difficulty rotates between Explorer, Challenge and Master.

  • Added local completion counts, best times and a consecutive-day Daily Challenge streak.
  • Added a progress panel on the homepage and Daily Challenge page.
  • Added share/copy result actions after completing a puzzle.
  • Kept progress device-local; no account or public leaderboard is required.
  • Expanded privacy, FAQ and project documentation to explain how the feature works.

Mobile touch and full-screen improvements

The browser game was adapted so phone users can drag pieces using touch input. Rotation-enabled modes support a swipe gesture, and the surrounding page includes a full-screen control to provide more board space on smaller displays.

What counts as an update here?

This is not an artificial daily publishing feed. New entries are added when something meaningful changes: gameplay controls, puzzle generation, accessibility, site information, major bug fixes or substantial new features. Keeping the page selective makes it useful to returning players instead of creating pages solely for search engines.
