Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains the main ways information may be processed when you use Block Jigsaw.

No player account required to play

You do not need an account to play Block Jigsaw, use the regular puzzle modes or keep local browser progress. An account is optional and is used only when you choose to register competitive Daily Challenge results, use a public display name or keep competitive achievements across devices.

Optional player account and sign-in

You can play without an account. If you choose to create a competitive account using Google sign-in, information needed to authenticate you may be processed by Google and our account service provider. This can include your email address and basic account profile information supplied during sign-in. Your sign-in email address is not shown on public leaderboards or player profiles.

You can choose a public display name for competitive features. Do not use an email address, full legal name or other sensitive information as your public player name.

Local game preferences and progress

The game stores basic preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as whether background music or sound effects are enabled and their volume levels. It may also store optional gameplay progress, including puzzle completion counts, best times by mode, total hints used, Daily Challenge completion dates and the best saved time for a daily board.

This local progress remains on the device/browser even when you have a competitive account. Clearing site data, using a different browser or switching devices may remove or reset the local record. Competitive results submitted while signed in are stored separately with your account.

Competitive leaderboard data

If you choose to compete, the service may store your account identifier, public display name, Daily Challenge date, puzzle mode, completion time, hint count, ranking information, streaks, achievements and related game statistics. The public leaderboard and player profiles show only game-related information associated with your chosen display name.

Competitive attempts may also generate limited technical and timing information used to operate the leaderboard, protect fair play, prevent abuse and investigate invalid submissions.

Hosting and technical logs

Like most websites, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical information needed to serve pages, maintain security and diagnose faults. Depending on the host, this can include IP address, browser/user-agent information, requested URL, timestamp and security log data.

Advertising and cookies

If advertising is displayed on Block Jigsaw, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve, measure and limit advertising and, where permitted, personalize ads. Third-party advertising providers may place or read cookies in your browser as part of ad serving.

You can manage Google ad personalization through Google Ads Settings. Where required by applicable law or platform policy, consent choices will be provided before relevant advertising technologies are used.

Children

Some puzzle modes may be enjoyed by younger players, but an account is never required to play. A child who is not old enough to consent to account creation or online services under applicable law should use account and leaderboard features only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Public display names should not contain a child’s full name, school, contact information or other identifying details.

Service providers

Block Jigsaw uses third-party service providers to operate the website, including Cloudflare for site delivery and security, Supabase for account and leaderboard services, and Google for optional sign-in and advertising services where enabled. These providers may process information as needed to provide their services and operate under their own terms and privacy notices.

Your choices

You can play without signing in, mute game audio, clear local browser storage and use browser privacy controls. Signed-in players can change their public display name or sign out from the Player Account page. If advertising consent controls are shown, you can use those controls to manage the choices they provide.

Account deletion and contact

To request deletion of a competitive player account and its associated leaderboard data, or for other privacy questions, email blockjigsawgame@gmail.com. A request may require reasonable verification that it relates to the account concerned.

Public competitive profiles

If you choose to compete, your selected display name, ranked puzzle statistics, streaks, badge achievements and recent competitive results may be visible on public leaderboard and profile pages. Your sign-in email address is not displayed publicly.
